Stay-in-place forms for footings and foundation walls

This can be used on ALMOST ANY house construction. The idea is that the 3D-printed concrete is the form itself, and stays in place to become part of the structure.

This allows much faster construction.

Another thing: the printer can be “taught” the shape of the ground, as shown on the right, and can then print directly onto rock, so no need for blasting, saving you even more money.

There are two approaches to make footings, as shown below. On the left is a “conventional” approach, where the poured-in concrete “oozes” out the openings at the bottom to make the footing. To its right is the “mono-pour” approach where there is no need to let the first part of the pour partially set first.
